Welcome!
It is so nice to see you here.
You and your dog have a story waiting to be told.
Let’s capture this, together.
Here is where you will find all of the information in regards to how my sessions work, what to expect, and potential investment.
Custom Crafted Session for You and Your Dog.
As a fellow pet parent, I understand that your dog and their needs are unique, and they deserve to have a session that supports not only your vision for your images, but also an experience that is crafted to support your dog for who they are! Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I design each experience around your pet, the people who love them, and how you hope to enjoy your images once the session is complete. I also specialize in finished pieces of art meaning that whatever your vision is for your dog's portraits, we bring that to life through artwork for you to enjoy for years to come.
The Phases
For each of my session offerings (more on this below!), they each include three different phases throughout the session: the planning session, the portrait session, and the reveal and artwork design session. Each phase is designed to ensure your experience is tailored specifically to your vision for your photos, your pet, and any artwork that we will create together from this.
-
This is where everything begins, and takes place about one month prior to the portrait session. I will send an in-depth questionnaire to dive deeper into who your dog is, their personality, your relationship with one another, and what truly matters most to you/them for this experience. I will ask about the kinds of images you're drawn to, your must-have shot list, and how you would like to enjoy your portraits once the session is complete in regards to artwork, digitals, etc. Once this questionnaire is complete, some clients also like to plan more via email or a quick call. I offer unlimited planning support to really ensure your dog is set up for success and we are capturing the kinds of images you've been dreaming of!
-
The portrait session itself typically begins about two hours before sunset, which is the start of Golden Hour and when the light is at its most beautiful. None of my sessions have time limits, except for The Short Story (more on this below), and your session would be my only session of the day. This means I am never rushing, or whisking away to another session, allowing us to work entirely at the pace of your pet. This ensures everyone is happy, comfortable, and enjoying themselves. This translates beautifully over to the final images to really capture your dog's personality because they're happy and confident throughout the session! For sessions without time restrictions, the average session lasts about 90 minutes, the length is ultimately dictated by how everyone is feeling. Sometimes we're done in 60 minutes if we have captured everything we were aiming to, and sometimes we go until the sun has set and we have no more workable light. Regardless, the sessions only move at your pet's comfort level, and we always work at their pace.
-
After the session, we move into the reveal phase. This takes place about 2-4 weeks after the portrait session. Most of the time, this happens with my design expert, Kristen, in a live virtual reveal. During this session, she’ll guide you through the best images from your session, and help you to choose your favorites one by one. Then, she will help you design how you'd like to enjoy them. Whether that’s wall art, an album, selecting your digital image that are included in your all-inclusive package, or a combination of both, she will walk you through step by step to create pieces that perfectly match your vision, medium preferences, and the design/color palette of their home. For clients who do not prefer a live reveal, this can instead be done by me as a video presentation. In this scenario, you would receive an online proofing gallery, along with a custom video walking you through your images, and showing you potential wall art designs and album layouts that I have crafted for you based on the planning and preferences that we had discussed prior. You are then able to review everything on your own time, and decide how you'd like to enjoy your images. Clients love both options, it all just depends on if you'd like a live design session, or if you would like me to pre-design for you!
Once final image selections are made, I complete my full master editing process on all selected images. These are delivered for viewing and approval, and are then sent to one of my hand-chosen labs throughout the world to have your custom artwork created! I do also want to add that any image that becomes a piece of artwork also includes the corresponding digital files, so you truly get the best of both worlds. All artwork is also delivered directly to you, arriving ready to hang and enjoy.
Session Types
I’ve been listening closely to pet parents and their desires for their session. I've listened to the ones who have wanted the full experience for their dog; the tailored session, wanting their story to be captured and told in full, and custom artwork they want to create. I’ve also listened to those who wanted something simpler based around digital images, with room to grow. So, I’m introducing two distinct ways to work together; both designed to give you the session you’ve always imagined, and portraits you’ll never stop looking at.

Perfect for the pet parent whose goal is to create something extraordinary with artwork as the end goal. If you've dreamed of tailored and finished pieces of art of your dog, this session is for you. From the very beginning, we design with the end in mind. The portrait above the fireplace, the album on the coffee table, or the wall in the hallway, we create artwork that is meant to be loved and lived with. We craft your session around that vision, the light, the location, and the moments you never want to forget. The session fee for the The Artist Session is $690, and $500 goes directly towards artwork credit. This session does not include digital images, or artwork upfront, but any image turned into art does include the corresponding digital copy. Artwork may be purchased a la carte, or in collections alongside your included Artwork Credit, ensuring you only ever invest in what you truly love.

These sessions are a digital-first experience focused on capturing timeless moments with your dog, delivered as a set of hand-edited digital images. Designed for the pet parents who are interested in digitals first, with the option to create artwork later. There are four different offerings with my all-inclusive sessions, allowing you to decide which best suits what you are looking for. Some include Wall Art credit, which can be used towards any of my wall art offerings, and others include this on top of a custom hand-stitched album. And of course, during your reveal session, there is always the option to add-on additional digitals images or additional artwork! Please find the four all-inclusive package offerings, with prices and inclusions, below!
Investment
Everything outlined above - the planning consultation, the portrait session, and the reveal - is included in all of my session fees for any of the session types above. The Artist Session includes $500 in artwork credit, which will cover two fine art 8x10" prints and their corresponding digital images or a 10" piece of wall art, and its corresponding digital image. However, most clients do find themselves falling in love with more than just one or two images, and decide to use their included credit towards larger pieces or wall art, wall art galleries, albums, or artwork/digital image collections. Starting prices for artwork options are as follows:
-Wall art begins at $690
-Albums and folio boxes begin at $2,790
-8x10" fine art mounted print packages being at $690
-Collections that include digital images and artwork start at $1,800
*these prices are prior to application of the included $500 artwork credit.
Overall there is a really large range that clients can expect to invest as a total. On the lower end, some clients invest just what their included product credit or all-inclusive package covers. On the higher end, some clients have decided to decorate multiple rooms in their home, and have spent over $10,000, which included multiple pieces of large wall art, as well as a very large album, and the included digital images. As you can see there is a really wide the investment range! I would say on average that clients typically invest just north of $2500 for their total experience. This investment would look like a gorgeous statement piece of wall art for their home, along with a hand-stitched custom flat-lay leather album featuring 20 of their favorite images. This would also include the 21 digital images (20 from the album, and one from the wall art) so that they can share their photos on social media, use for holiday cards, or have as the lock screen on their phone.
Lastly, payment plans are available and I do these in house. Since I manage them myself, I am able to do 0% interest, and varied payment schedule. This allows clients maximum freedom to bring their images to life exactly how they envision them!
