Dog Modeling Information

If you’ve always thought that your dog has what it takes to be the perfect dog model, then welcome to our dog model application page!

From print competition image creation, personal projects, and collaborations with other companies and creators, I decided to create a dog model application process to start my very own database of the Northeast’s very best pet models! This means that whenever we are looking for a model, you and your pup are first on the list to be contacted! Please note that Gina Soule Photo is not a commercial dog modeling agency. Gina Soule is a multi-internationally award winning dog and pet photographer who keeps a list of dog models to help aid her in personal projects, and any potential commercial projects, that she works on.

Regardless of the modeling opportunity, if your dog is selected, they will be treated to the full Gina Soule Photo experience. Their happiness, well-being, and safety will always be our top priority, and our promise to you, is that we will love and treat your dog model as if they were our own.

Print Competition Images - your dog’s images could be featured on the international print competition stage; showcasing their images around the globe! Many of the images Gina has created with dog models have gone on to win over 85+ international awards and accolades.

Professional Publications - Dogs who have modeled for Gina have graced the cover of Orvis Magazine and Desert Leaf Magazine, as well as many others who have been featured in articles in publications such as the NY Post, Savannah Magazine, and more!

Workshops - On occasion, Gina hosts other photographers who teach their own workshops. These photographers travel from around the world to teach here in the Northeast, and require amazing dog models for not only the students to learn with, but also to photograph.

Commercial Work - Gina often collaborates with and supports other local businesses, both pet oriented and not. Depending on what the client is looking for, dog models may be required!

So, What’s Required?

There are very few requirements for your dog to be considered as one of our top pup models! Please fill out the application below to the best of your ability so that we can get to know your pet, their personality, and their training level!

If chosen for our of our modeling opportunities, please note the following:

  1. You must be the owner of the dog. Only the owner of the dog may fill out the application.

  2. You must sign a model release and session agreement for your dog to participate.

  3. Training isn’t always required, but if your dog has solid basic obedience, this is a huge bonus, and can help your chances of being selected.

  4. Any dog is welcome to apply! From an endearing rescue with a heroing story, to a top show dog from a prestigious breeder, we are inclusive at Gina Soule Photo, and all dogs are welcome to apply!

  5. Dogs can be located anywhere! We are always traveling so we invite anyone within the continental US to apply.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • You fill out the application below, and whenever I have a need for a model, I search through my Dog Model Database for a dog that may be the best fit. Then, I will contact you to see your availability! Simple as that!

  • Our motto here is ‘No training, no problem!’, but for situations like these, and depending on the need of the model, some training may be required. We invite all dogs to apply, but please note that a dog with more training may be a better fit for some of the modeling opportunities than others.

  • Your dog’s happiness, well-being, and safety are always our top priority when choosing models. We want them to enjoy their time being a dog model! This is why filling out the application as honestly as possible is very important. Dogs with anxiety, reactivity, or behavioral problems are still welcome to apply, but may not be best suited for all dog modeling opportunities. Their happiness and well-being is of the utmost importance to us. Beyond this, models may chosen based on looks, breed, training, age, etc. Because there is a need for all dogs of all breeds, ages, colors, and training levels, we invite everyone to apply!

  • Yes, all dog modeling opportunities are free! In fact, in some instances, we will even pay you and your dog for your time! Please note though, that not all modeling opportunities receive payment, and not all modeling opportunities receive compensation in the form of digital images. Terms are to be discussed between the photographer and the client on a case by case basis.
